SYLRA 2011 CONTEST - SV2KBS SUMMARY

Hi gals !  Here is what I did this weekend, was QRV on voice and CW:

Well, if I compare this to my last year's effort, it's really clear that this year I was SERIOUSLY lazy :-)
What made big difference this year's contest was the excellent condx: 10m was wide open all day long, logged 5 VK's there; well, that feels really exotic to hams like me that got licensed at the bottom of solar activity !
Unfortunately I had a glitch with my computer at the beginning of the contest which did not allow me to operate any CW during the first hours, something that really freaked me out - fortunately this was ressolved later on thanks to my radiobuddy Telis SV2HWR.
Worked lots of YLs, namely: G0AJJ, OZ7AGR, DL1BYL, ON6AN, VK9CX (DL7AFS), SQ2OTS, VU2SWS, DL1ICB, G0NVP, DK2YL, IN3FHE, OH6LC, DJ1TE, IK7NYD, DN1XC, IZ5BRO.
I know from the DX Cluster that I missed DL5YL, OZ7EA, EA1HLW, EB5JTK and PA5YL Chantal. Buuu, hopefully next time !
All in all, it was fun: had a great time visiting good buddies at Thessaloniki; I also feel thankful to SV2BFN for his hospitality and for letting me operate from his shack once more !
