I received my Tech ticket in 2006, my General in 2009 and my Extra in 2010. My operating conditions are an ICOM MK II G with a Yeasu FL-2100B amplifier. I am using a HEIL Gold Elite microphone and 2 home brew tuners. Antenna for 20, 15 and 10m is a Hy Gain 3 element tri-bander 45 feet up and for 40m is a 142' loop skywire 30' up.
I prefer 20m phone, but you may occasional hear me on 40. I'm into chasing DX, rag chewing, storm spotting and in between solder burns a little home brewing.
