Dear participants,
Here are the results of the Midwinter QSO Party 2011.There were 29 participants and as you can see most participated in CW. Hopefully you all had fun. The conditions were poor once again but the most heard comment was that there was not much activity. There was almost no interference with other contests this year. I was only active with PI4YLC in CW this year, due to other obligations later that day at scouting. I wasn’t able to find another YL operator to cover for me. Unfortunately there was no YL participation from the Netherlands, but this time 6 OM ‘s from PA were active !
This year there were a lot of changes in the rules. Most of you calculated the multipliers correctly, YL stations count as multiplier instead of DXCC countries.
Most logs were emailed to me in Cabrillo, which is the preferred format for entering your log. I received three paperlogs. You will also find the results on this website : http://midwintercontest.veron.nl/
Congratulations to all winners, you will receive your certificate by email.
Hope to hear you in 2012 in the next Midwinter QSO Party !
